More about you….

  1. Ambitionyou are in this for the long-haul. We want someone to help us grow our business and as a result grow with us. You jump at new projects and put your hand up first to volunteer to solve a problem. ‘That’s not my job’ are words you’d NEVER say.
  2. A people lover – you’re a friendly, helpful and professional individual who is able to build personal relationships.
  3. An autonomist – you are comfortable making decisions. We’re growing fast so things can get pretty hectic.
  4. A great communicator – you love striking up conversation at the grocery store (but not in a weird way!) and your greatest desire is to put people at ease.
  5. A good teacher – someone who takes joy in helping OTHERS understand finance and accounting concepts, particularly those with minimal or no experience. It gives you a kick to watch as the person you’re helping begins to really GET what you’re talking about.
  6. Highly focused – you are organized and have the ability to multi-task effectively. You also thrive under pressure and can juggle multiple tasks without breaking a sweat!
  7. Ideally a CPA – this is highly valued but not a deal breaker

Pay and all that good stuff:

For the first two months, this will be a contract position paid at an hourly rate equivalent to the proposed annual salary. If at the end of the two months this proves to be a good fit for both parties, you will be offered a full time position with a salary from $55 – $75k depending on experience, qualifications and performance.

There is a genuine opportunity for partnership for the right person. What does the timeline for this look like?

  • 0-6 months – get to know each other, see if we’re a good fit
  • 6 months – have a conversation about what partnership might look like for you, what your aspirations are within the business.
