How's it going, little bro?

I have some questions about starting a business. I'll send some pictures of what I want to sell. It's really in the early stages, and let's face it, it might not ever happen, but I want to be as prepared as possible if it does.

I think advertising and marketing will be the hardest part. I want to know how much it usually costs to buy a domain online. Also, what's the difference between .com, .org, .net, etc... What do you think? Any suggestions? I need to make a plan.

This initial email spawned additional emails and phone conversations - through which I discovered how few resources exist to help first-time entrepreneurs.

My quest for simple.

In my search for simple software and resources for my sister, I became very frustrated with the results. All of the software I found was poorly designed, poorly supported, overly complicated, or just too expensive.

So... with no other alternatives, I decided to create the software myself.

I wanted to create small business software that was smaller and simpler than anything else out there. Software that was easy to use & easy to understand, that was designed specifically for a one-person business.

Since I already had a full-time job, I started waking up at 3:00 AM everyday. I'd program from 3:00-8:00 AM, go into work from 8:00-5:00 PM, and then come home and spend time with my wife.
